Scripture Writing: Patience

Patience: The capacity to accept or tolerate delay, trouble, or suffering without getting angry or upset

The Bible is full of examples of being patient, waiting on God, enduring, and forbearing others. In this scripture writing plan you will find selected verses on the topic of patience, but there are many more! Read these verses and the chapters they are found in, apply them to your life, pray them. I encourage you to dig into God’s Word and find examples of patience or even examples of impatience because we can learn from the mistakes of others. Being patient is not an always an easy task, but when we seek God and grow, the fruit of the Holy Spirit will be evident in our lives.
